Is it “paying it forward”? “Giving back”? “Making a difference?” “Investing in the future”? “Making a contribution”? However you define it, philanthropy is a force for good, opening doors of opportunity for people all around the world. For five days this spring, March 23–27, 2015, Syracuse University will celebrate the vital role philanthropy plays in our society with a number of on-campus events.
The man behind the Rubin Global Design Studio will talk about giving and why it’s so important to him.
The honor will go to SU alum Ruth Schlesinger Sherman ’73 and grad student Timi Komonibo G’15.
The student experience is that much greater because of our donors. Say thanks on Monday, March 23!
Our roly-poly mascot turns 25! Stop by the Schine atrium on National Orange Day to sign his birthday card and share his cake!
The second round of Fast Forward winners will present their ideas on March 24 in Bird Library.
